- Regular test – 10 minutes
What is tested?
- This test looks for evidence of past infection and antibodies the body uses to fight off COVID-19.
- A blood sample (often using pin prick on the finger) is taken at time of testing.
- A positive test may mean an Antigen or Swab test is needed to confirm active infection.
- A negative result is not necessarily a guarantee that there is no current active infection as it only tests for antibodies / past infection.

This is a less expensive test to check for active COVID-19 infection.

What is tested?
- This test looks for Active COVID-19 infection.
- A nasal or throat swab is taken for testing.
- A negative results means the patient didn’t have COVID-19 at time of testing.

PCR Swab Test
This is often required for international travel requirements.

- Regular test – 2 – 3 days.
- Express – 24 hours.
What is tested?
- This test looks for Active COVID-19 infection.
- A nasal or throat swab is taken for testing.
- A negative results means the patient didn’t have COVID-19 at time of testing.
