Despite the fact that we have been experiencing some quakes around the island, we feel that it shouldn’t stop us from living to the fullest and using the best of our time.
With the outbreak of social media on the last decade at least, we get more and more empowered to share the best version of ourselves with the rest of the world; be it our family, close friends, or even a complete stranger, even though we don’t really recommend the latter for safety reason.

- Sambangan Secret Garden, Buleleng
If you and your squad enjoy trekking, you should definitely try this one. With short, medium, and long trek to choose from, you will find something that fits your preference. It is recommended to hire a professional guide since there is no adequate tourist facilities in the area, yet.
Many tour packages are available too, if you feel like it. Located in Buleleng, Bali, this amazing trek will take around three hours for the full course to finish; in which you can see the local temple and four out of seven waterfalls in the vicinity. You can take a dip in the cool water, or take a fun slide from the waterfall. Now this will definitely be a good place for you to rock a swim wear and post your inner Bali Babe Swim persona for the world to see.
- Tukad Cepung Waterfall, Ubud
Moving forward to the famous Ubud, here is a waterfall you should visit if you and your squad of babes are more into light trekking.
This famous and easy to reach waterfall has a trek of only about fifteen minutes long into the jungle which we think you would enjoy walking through; this trek is known forcits splendid view of sun rays shining through the trees.
Its family-friendly status makes Tukad Cepung a perfect choice for you and your young ones, too. However, make sure to google the place first so you can determine if your kids can handle the obstacles in the trek.
- Tibumana Waterfall, Ubud
A little farther away from Tukad Cepung is Tibumana Waterfall. Still located in Ubud, this one is less travelled, giving the place a more calm and serene ambiance all over. Reachable with an easy ride from Central Bali, the drive to Tibumana Waterfall will take you through an amazing view of swaying palm trees and lush green (or yellow) paddy fields along the road. With only a ten minutes-walk down from the car park, Tibumana is also one of the easier waterfalls to get to. Swimsuits on, girls!
